WattThe ("we," "us") operates wattthe.net. This page explains what information the site handles and how.
Calculators run in your browser
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter — appliance wattages, system sizes, rates, loads — are never transmitted to us or stored on any server.
Email signups
If you join our email list, we collect the email address you provide. It is stored and processed by our email service provider, Hostinger (Reach), and used only to send the updates described at the signup form — typically one or two emails a month. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We do not sell or rent email addresses.
Advertising
We may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Third-party ad vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at Google's Ads Settings, where you can also opt out of personalized advertising. Until advertising is active on this site, no ad-related cookies are set by these placements.
Analytics and cookies
The site itself does not set cookies and does not include analytics trackers. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them.
